Flud Doubles Up at Red River Roundup as Toho and Scott Score First Career Driven Midwest NOW600 Wins

Inside Line Promotions – WICHITA FALLS, Texas (March 5, 2016) – Frank Flud swept the Red River Roundup while Josh Toho and Blake Scott each recorded their first career Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass feature victory on Saturday at Red River Speedway.

Flud scored his second Stock Non-Wing triumph in a row as he maneuvered from third to earn his sixth career trip to Driven Midwest NOW600 Victory Lane. That’s twice as many wins as any other Stock Non-Wing competitor.

Steven Shebester advanced from seventh to finish second with Aaron Dromgoole ending third and 11th starting Jeb Sessums placing fourth. Bryan Debrick rallied from 18th to fifth place to garner the Hard Charger Award.

Shebester holds a 44-point lead in the championship standings with Debrick ranked second after four races.

Toho won a Winged ‘A’ Class heat race to lock into the feature redraw, where he pulled the highest number to start the 20-lap main event eighth. However, he methodically charged to the front to capture his first victory as seventh starting Scott Sawyer finished second to take the lead in the championship standings by one point over Dean Drake Jr., who maneuvered from 15th to end fourth.

Debrick rounded out the podium in third place with Dromgoole powering from 23rd to fifth place to capture the Hard Charger Award.

Scott took advantage of the pole position to win the Restricted ‘A’ Class main event. Kaylee Bryson, who won on Friday at Red River Speedway, earned a runner-up result. She now owns a 55-point lead over Scott in the championship standings.

Grady Widener drove to a third-place result with Daison Pursley fourth and JC Haddock fifth.

Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass competition resumes next Friday and Saturday at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla., where the Stock Non-Wing and Restricted ‘A’ Class divisions will compete.
