Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series Revs Back into Action Friday at Heart O’ Texas

Inside Line Promotions – TULSA, Okla. (March 28, 2016) – The Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass resumes this Friday when the series will make its debut at Heart O’ Texas Speedway.

The Midwest’s premier micro sprint series will invade the bullring in Waco, Texas, where all three featured divisions – Stock Non-Wing, Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class – will compete. The event is also co-sanctioned with the Inside Line Promotions NOW600 North Texas Region powered by FFE Motorsports.

“We’re excited to have Heart O’ Texas Speedway offer a Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass event in 2016,” NOW600 Series Founder Terry Mattox said. “We’ve had four great shows so far this season and we’re looking forward to another one this weekend.”

Steven Shebester, who is the only driver to register three top-five finishes in the Stock Non-Wing division, enters the weekend with a 44-point advantage in the championship standings.

Scott Sawyer, who has won two of the four Winged ‘A’ Class main events, currently holds a one-point lead in the standings.

Kaylee Bryson, who is the only driver to record a top five in every Restricted ‘A’ Class feature this year, has a 55-point lead in the standings.

The front gates open at 6 p.m. with hot laps at 7:15 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m. The NOW600 drivers meeting is set for 6:15 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for ages five and younger. Pit passes are $30.

Drivers are also encouraged to compete on Saturday at Gator Motorplex in Willis, Texas, for the Nolan Wren Memorial, which is a non-points event for the Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass.
