Driven Midwest NOW600 Series Heading to 281 Speedway This Saturday

Inside Line Promotions – TULSA, Okla. (Sept. 13, 2016) – The Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass is taking two of its championship chases to 281 Speedway this Saturday.

The bullring in Stephenville, Texas, will host the Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class divisions. It will mark the first visit of the season for the series at 281 Speedway as the first date of the year rained out in April.

Dean Drake Jr. has recorded a division-best four top fives and six top 10s to lead the Winged ‘A’ Class championship standings by 142 points over Collin Traylor. Two-time feature winner Scott Sawyer ranks third – 250 points out of the lead.

Sawyer is the only driver to win multiple races in the class this season as Nathan Benson, Blake Dacus, Danny Davidson, Garrett Hulsey, Jace McIntosh, Marcus Thomas and Josh Toho each have one victory.

Daison Pursley holds a 69-point advantage in the Restricted ‘A’ Class championship standings over Ryder LaPlante with Blake Scott in third – 286 points behind Pursley.

Jake Nail is the lone two-time winner in the division with Kaylee Bryson, Trey Gropp, Braden Knipmeyer, LaPlante and Scott each winning once.

Pit gates are scheduled to open at 5 p.m. with the front gates opening at 6 p.m. Racing starts at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $3 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for ages five and younger. Pit passes are $30.
