Inside Line Promotions – SAPULPA, Okla. (June 1, 2017) – Two of the hottest drivers on the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass circuit captured victories Thursday night at Creek County Speedway during Terry Mattox presents Night 4 of Sooner 600 Week.

Frank Flud won both the Stock Non-Wing and Winged ‘A’ Class main events, which marked the sixth time he’s accomplished the feat on the same night this season, and Daison Pursley scored his third consecutive Restricted ‘A’ Class victory to remain undefeated through three completed Sooner 600 Week races during the last week. Both drivers extended their lead in the championship standings in each class.

Flud maneuvered from third to garner his series-best 12th career Stock Non-Wing victory. Hank Davis placed second with Jeffrey Newell third, Jace McIntosh fourth and 11th-starting Shawn Wicker fifth.

Newell, Cannon McIntosh and Davis each earned a heat race win.

Flud charged from fifth to record his series-best 10th career Winged ‘A’ Class triumph. Jason McDougal rallied from 10th to the runner-up result with Jim Woods ending third, Newell fourth and Riley Goodno fifth.

Woods, Goodno, Chase Randall and Flud were the heat race winners and Lane Goodman claimed the B Main.

Pursley, who started the Restricted ‘A’ Class main event on the outside of the second row, held off fifth-starting Randall to keep his winning streak alive. Grady Mercer, 10th-starting Caleb Pence and Goodno rounded out the top five, respectively.

Gunner Bowden, Randall and Gage Laney each picked up a heat race win.

Kris Carroll and Joshua Gentry also scored feature victories on Thursday at Creek County Speedway.

Carroll outlasted Jeremy Wickham to earn the NOW600 Sportsman A Main triumph. Robert McIntosh finished third with 11th-starting Dave Nicholson fourth and Kayla Ward fifth.

Carroll and McIntosh claimed heat race victories.

Gentry garnered the Junior Sprints main event triumph with Ryan Timms finishing in the runner-up position. Jase Mosley, who won the lone heat race, placed third with Hayden Mabe fourth and Kaley Mahaffey fifth.

Next up for the Sooner 600 Week is Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Okla., which will host its first-ever Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series event on Friday. The race will be held on the new Red Dirt Speedbowl, which is a sixth-mile track cut through the quarter-mile track.

The main gates will open at 5 p.m. with racing set for 8 p.m. The drivers meeting is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. The series will hold the draw directly after the drivers meeting and it will close after the last driver present at the meeting has drawn in. If any driver is running late he or she should call Series Director Terry Mattox at 918-417-0624.

Adult grandstand ticket prices are $10 and children ages 10-years-old and younger are admitted free with an accompanying adult.
