NOW600 Sanctioning 12 Events Across the Country this Weekend

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (June 21, 2018) - The busiest weekend so far for the National Open Wheel 600 Series is on the docket as 12 events will be held between National, Desert, Kansas, Mile High, Mountain West, Northeast, North Texas and Weekly Racing.

NOW600 National

Four of the 12 events will be contested with the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series as this week kicks off the second edition of Sooner 600 Week.

Wednesday night at Caney Valley Speedway, Thursday night at Creek County Speedway, Friday at Red Dirt Raceway and Saturday at Port City Raceway.

NOW600 Desert Region

Kart Kanyon Speedway will play host to the second event of the 2018 season for the NOW600 Desert Region on Saturday night.

Bradley Huish leads the point standings leading into the Saturday Night Showdown over Brandon Martin. Waylone Hale is third with Joshua Huish fourth.

NOW600 Kansas Region

The Kansas Region of the National Open Wheel 600 Series will head back to Airport Raceway in Garden City on Saturday night featuring the Winged A-Class division. Racing is set for 7:30pm.

NOW600 Mile High Micro Sprints

Night number four for the NOW600 Mile High Micro Sprints will be held at the El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colorado on Saturday night.

Cory Kelly leads the point standings over, Jared McIntyre. Skylar Rhoades sits third in points with Austin Ullstrom in fourth and Christian Galicia fifth.

Racing on Saturday for the Mile High Series begins at 5pm and also features URSS 305ci Sprint Cars.

NOW600 Mountain West Region

Newcastle Speedway in Newcastle, Wyoming host the Mountain West Region on Saturday night, June 23. The previous event held on Memorial Day Weekend was won by Logan Hershey (A-Class) and Nikko Bailes (Restricted.)

A tight points battle is brewing in the NOW600 Mountain West Region presented by Hoosier Racing Tire as Logan Hershey leads the A-Class division by two markers over Doug McIntosh. Wren Jacobs holds onto the third spot. Ryan Fulk is fourth in series standings and Martin Hansen rounds out the top five.

In Mountain West Restricted points, Nikko Baile leads Tallen Hansen by seven. Chance Babich is third.

Racing at Newcastle Speedway will get underway at 7pm.

NOW600 Northeast Region

After announcing last week that the Northeast Region of the National Open Wheel 600 Series would change direction to Stock Non-Wing the series will hold its first event wingless this Saturday night at Path Valley Speedway Park.

Zane Rudisill leads the point standings with a 16 point lead over AJ Bast. Jesse Howell sits in the third spot with Lauren Huffman fourth. Scott Morris is fifth.

Action at the Path Valley Speedway Park will begin at 7pm with Hot Laps.

NOW600 North Texas Region

The RW Chassis and Components NOW600 North Texas Region will compete twice of the course of the weekend. RPM Speedway will kick things off on Friday night featuring the Winged A-Class division while Superbowl Speedway concluding things on Saturday for the Stock Non-Wing and Restricted 'A' Class divisions.

In Winged A-Class standings, Chase Brewer leads the charge with a 40 point lead over Colby Stubblefield. Brady Ross is third 121 points behind the leader with Ryder Laplante fourth and Chance Hull fifth.

Caleb Rouser continues to lead the Restricted 'A' Class point standings over Ryder Laplante. Thomas Hall, Jr. is third in series points. Tatum Woods is in fourth and Shelby Price fifth.

Colby Stubblefield has taken over the Stock Non-Wing points lead. Colby holds a 19 point lead over Daison Pursley. Thomas Hall, Sr. is third. Fourth is Justin Bates. Kobe Simpson rounds out the top five.

Both nights will begin at 8pm.

NOW600 Weekly Racing

I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas will host the NOW600 Weekly Racing Series Outlaw class on Saturday night.

In the last Outlaw event at I-30, Tom Curran picked up the victory in the Race for Chase on May 19.

Racing at I-30 Speedway will begin at 7:30pm Saturday.
