Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (Feb. 25, 2019) – The Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies has a busy first half of the month of March.

The series will showcase action for its three primary divisions – Stock Non-Wing, Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class – each of the next three weekends. Arkoma Speedway in Arkoma, Okla., is up first with the Arkoma Meltdown this Friday and Saturday.

The season-opening event was a rousing success for the series earlier this month when Frank Flud swept the Winged ‘A’ Class main events. Flud split the two Stock Non-Wing features with Anton Hernandez while Ryan Timms was victorious during both of the first two Restricted ‘A’ Class races of the season.

This weekend marks the first two races of the season in the state of Oklahoma and the first two of five visits to the bullring this season.

The series made its debut at Arkoma Speedway last year. Flud captured three Stock Non-Wing and Winged ‘A’ Class triumphs. Jase Randolph claimed a pair of Stock Non-Wing wins and Trey Robb posted a victory in the division. Gage Robb, Layden Pearson and Timms each scored a Winged ‘A’ Class win. Ryder Laplante and Timms both produced a pair of Restricted ‘A’ Class victories while Shawn Mahaffey and Chase Brown were also single-race winners.

Tickets for this weekend’s action are $12 each night with children under 5-years-old entering free. Pit passes are $30 per person each night.

On Friday the gates will open at 5 p.m. with the NOW600 Series pill draw running from 5:30 p.m. until the drivers meeting at 6:45 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. with racing to follow.

The gates open at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The NOW600 Series pill draw is from 1:30 p.m. until the drivers meeting at 2:45 p.m. Hot laps start at 3:30 p.m. with racing at 4 p.m.
