NOW600 National Micros
Kelley and Sokol Cruise to NOW600 Tel-Star Mile High Victories at El Paso County Raceway
CALHAN, Colo. (April 28, 2019) - Cory Kelley and Colby Sokol each cruised to victory with the Tel-Star Technologies NOW600 Mile High Region on Saturday night at the El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colorado.
Kelley took the victory in the NOW600 Winged A-Class and while the NOW600 Restricted 'A' Class performed with the A-Class drivers, Colby Sokol was the highest finishing Restricted driver and was honored with an A-Feature victory.
Starting on the outside front row of the 20-lap feature event, Cory Kelley ran to the A-Main victory over Jared McIntyre. Hunter Rhoades claimed the final podium spot with John Barr fourth and Cassidy Hinds fifth.
Brianna Rhoades was sixth with Colby Sokol (Rest) in seventh. Eighth went to Chance Ullstrom (Rest) with Matt Mitchell in ninth and Tristan McCray rounding out the top ten.
Hinds and Kelley were the nights heat race victors.
Colby Sokol was the highest finishing Restricted driver while Chance Ullstrom was second. They will be awarded Restricted class points.
The Mile High Region of the National Open Wheel 600 Series will return to action on Saturday, May 4 at I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan, Colorado. The event will be Non-Winged.
