Inside Line Promotions – SAPULPA, Okla. (June 13, 2019) – Frank Flud and Ryan Timms continued their assault on the competition Thursday at Creek County Speedway, which hosted the second round of the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies Sooner 600 Week.

Flud captured his seventh Stock Non-Wing triumph and ninth Winged ‘A’ Class win – and his second in as many days in both classes – while Timms posted his fourth consecutive Restricted ‘A’ Class victory and eighth of the season.

Flud charged from seventh to second place in a Stock Non-Wing heat race to make the feature redraw. He pulled the No. 2 to line up on the outside of the front row in the A Main and he capitalized by powering to the win.

Chase Randall earned a runner-up result with Brian McClelland third, Daniel Shaffer fourth and 16th-starting Issac Barr fifth.

Jeffrey Newell, Jared Dunkin and Timms each won a heat race.

Flud hustled from fifth to produce his Winged ‘A’ Class win. Timms finished second with Joey Starnes third, Randall fourth and Cole Roberts fifth.

Timms, Gage Laney and Flud were the heat race winners.

Timms held off 12th-starting Preston Scheulen to score the Restricted ‘A’ Class victory. Joshua Gentry was third with 15th-starting and B Main winner Ryder Laplante fourth. Kayden Cole rounded out the top five.

Conner Thomas, Mason Daugherty and Timms reached the Winner’s Circle during heat race action.

The midpoint of Sooner 600 Week is Friday at Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Okla. Tickets are $15 for general admission with high school ages and younger getting in free. Additionally, it’s $80 per load for tailgating and $30 for entry to the pits. The gates open at 6 p.m. with race time set for 8 p.m.
