NOW600 National Micros
Naida, Kimmel, Gamester, Setser and Williams Win Fast Friday Victories at Circus City Speedway
PERU, Ind. (July 4, 2020) - Darin Naida, Sam Kimmel, Russ Gamester, Gunnar Setser and JJ Williams each picked up Fast Friday wins at Circus City Speedway during NOW600 Hi Plains Building Division Weekly Racing action.
82 entries filled the pits featuring 7 Winged Outlaws, 22 Non-Wing Outlaws, 26 A-Class, 16 Senior Class, 7 Restricted and 4 Junior Sprints.
OUTLAW >> Darin Naida picked up the Outlaw Winged victory over Larry Drake. Third went to Caden Englehart with Reece Saldana and Ty Englehart making up the top five.
Caden Hoyt and Jett Mann rounded out the field.
Caden Englehart won the lone heat race.
NON-WING OUTLAW >> Sam Kimmel rolled from the pole of the 25 lap Non-Wing Outlaw feature to pick up the win. Russ Gamester crossed in the runner up spot with Darin Naida rounding out the podium. Eastin Ashbrooke from 11th finished fourth with Craig Overpeck the top five.
Brent Busz, Marv Hephner, Laine Hite, Parker Leek and Trey McGranahan the top ten.
Kimmel, Leek and Naida picked up heat race victories.
A-CLASS >> Sam Kimmel also took the A-Class victory on Friday night from the sixth starting spot. Tyler Orr from eighth finished in the second position with Mason Hannagan crossing in third. From 12th Cooper Baldwin took the fourth spot with Brenton Lamb the top five.
Clayton Maynard, Tanner Holwerda, Aiden Williamson, Shawn Bartley and Lamb Blake were your top ten.
Jett Mann, Gunnar Setser, Hannagan and Kimmel won heat races while Maynard won the lone B-Main.
SENIOR CLASS >> Russ Gamester topped the Senior Non-Wing class on Friday night with Cory Ebersole finishing in second. Third went to Marv Hephner. Dennis Corcoran was fourth and Rick Rhodes the top five.
Jason Ohara, Gina Frederickson, Jason Fuller, Wes Bigger and Shaun Miller made up the top ten.
Frederickson and Ebersole won the two heat races.
RESTRICTED CLASS >> Gunnar Setser from the outside of the front row won the Restricted 'A' Class feature event win. Kanon Posey followed suit in second with Elijah Anderson taking home the third spot. Carter Whaley was fourth and Hayden McKnight made up the top five.
Easton Zent and Caidyn Brinkman the field.
Setser also won the lone heat race.
JUNIOR SPRINTS >> JJ Williams stood on top of the podium on Friday night in Junior Sprint action. JD Kimmel crossed in second with Myles Bartley fourth and Mya Williamson the field.
Williams also won the lone heat race.
Circus City Speedway will return to action tonight (Saturday, July 4) for the Firecracker 40 paying $1,000 to win Non-Wing Outlaw plus all regular classes in action.
