Father and Son Woods Wire NOW600 Milestone TOWR Series Fields at Superbowl

GREENVILLE, Texas (August 23, 2020) - For the third time in family history and first in NOW600 competition, Jim and Brant Woods each picked up feature event wins on the same night on Saturday during the NOW600 Milestone TOWR Series presented by Hi Plains Building Division event at Superbowl Speedwayon Saturday night.

13 Winged A-Class Micro Sprints and 4 Restricted Micro Sprints were on hand for the Saturday night showdown.

Jim Woods from the pole picked up the Winged A-Class feature event win with Karter Battarbee finishing in the second spot. Karson Battarbee was third from the eighth starting spot. Johnny Boland took the fourth spot with Gerald Ray crossing in fifth.

Kendall Battarbee was sixth. Seventh went to Jeffrey Abbey. PK Butterwick crossed in eighth. Ninth was Ronnie Meyer and Kyle Amerson the top ten.

Boland and Devon Debrick won heat races.

Brant Woods swept the Restricted class portion of the event. Hailey Taylor was second with Carson Bolden third and Caden McCreary the field.

The NOW600 Milestone TOWR Series presented by Hi Plains Building Division returns to racing on Saturday, September 26 at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas.
