Lucas Oil NOW600 Series Heading to Port City Raceway for Pete Frazier Memorial
Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (Aug. 31, 2020) – The 2020 Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division is down to its final half-dozen races of the year.
The series will participate in a two-day event during each of the next three months with the September showcase coming this Friday and Saturday at Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Okla., during the 21st annual Pete Frazier Memorial presented by Western Flyer Xpress. It is a show-up points event for all three premier series divisions – Stock Non-Wing, Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class.
Bradley Fezard leads defending series champion Frank Flud by 192 points in the Stock Non-Wing championship standings. Jade Avedisian owns a 216-point advantage over Flud in the Winged ‘A’ Class standings. Meanwhile the closest points battle is in the Restricted ‘A’ Class standings with Avedisian holding a 15-point lead over Garrett Benson.
Flud leads the way with eight feature triumphs in both the Stock Non-Wing and Winged ‘A’ Class divisions this sesaon. Two of those wins in each class came at Port City Raceway, which has hosted the series four times this year.
Avedisian and Benson are tied with six Restricted ‘A’ Class wins a piece. Both have been victorious during NOW600 Series competition at Port City Raceway with Avedisian scoring one triumph and Benson pocketing a pair of victories.
The action starts at 8 p.m. each night and FloRacing will provide a live video stream for anyone unable to attend.
General admission tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for seniors and children ages 6-years-old to 12-years-old. Children 5-years-old and younger get in free along with veterans.
