Walling and Lelsz Tame NOW600 Ark-La-Tex / POWRi Lonestar 600 Field on Saturday at 105 Speedway

CLEVELAND, Texas (Sept. 8, 2020) - Mike Walling and Degan Lelsz topped their respective fields on Saturday night at 105 Speedway with the NOW600 Hi Plains Building Division Ark-La-Tex Region and POWRi Lonestar 600's.

Rolling from the fourth spot, Mike Walling captured the 25-lap feature event win. Eighth starting Maverick Elkins finished in the runner up spot with Isaiah Garcia completing the podium. Colton Corbin was fourth with Cole Tipton advancing ten spots to finish fifth.

Robert Herbert took sixth with Bash Ferguson in seventh. Stephen Yates was eighth with Randall McCord ninth and 23rd starting Kody Kerchner rounding out the top ten.

Kendyl Guillot, Maverick Elkins and Wyatt Rector each won heat races.

Degan Lelz picked up the Restricted class victory with Kamirin Cook crossing in the second spot. Kaden Trotter was third with Kinsley Cook finishing in fourth and Ryder Wells the top five.

Rylie Yates took sixth with Dalton Wayne crossing in seventh. Andrew Clark was eighth and Brannon Lucas the field.

Lelsz and Kinsley Cook each won the nights two heat races.

The Ark-La-Tex Region of the National Open Wheel 600 Series returns to action on Friday, Sept. 18 at Sabine Motor Speedway.
