Lucas Oil NOW600 Series Restricted ‘A’ Class Micro Sprints Competing During KKM Giveback Classic This Weekend at Port City Raceway

Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (Oct. 19, 2021) – The Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division will take part in one of micro sprint racing’s marquee events this weekend.

Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Okla., hosts the KKM Giveback Classic presented by Velox Racing Thursday through Saturday with the Restricted ‘A’ Class being sanctioned by the NOW600 Series.

Points will be tabulated throughout the two preliminary nights with the top six locking into Saturday’s finale, which culminates with a 40-lap, $3,000-to-win main event.

Garrett Benson is the current leader in the NOW600 Series championship standings, holding a 44-point advantage over Corbin Rueschenberg. Jett Nunley, Justis Sokol and Talin Turner round out the top five, respectively.

Benson and Rueschenberg are also tied atop the series’ wins list with five victories apiece this year. Four of Benson’s victories have occurred at Port City Raceway while Rueschenberg is also a feature winner at the track this year. Kaley Mahaffey is the only other driver to score a NOW600 Series Restricted ‘A’ Class win at Port City Raceway this season.

The pits are open all day throughout the event with the grandstands opening at 5 p.m. each night. Practice is set for 6 p.m. with racing to follow all three nights.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and $8 for students ages 6-years-old to 14-years-old on Thursday and Friday. Saturday’s ticket prices are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $10 for students. Veterans and children 5-years-old and younger get in free each night.

There is a practice night beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
