Lucas Oil NOW600 Series Features Three New Champions and 22 Feature Winners During Strong Season

Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (Nov. 16, 2021) – The 2021 season showcased another step forward for the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division.
The premier micro sprint series featured a trio of first-time champions – Chelby Hinton in Stock Non-Wing, Noah Key in Winged ‘A’ Class and Garrett Benson in Restricted ‘A’ Class – as well as 22 different feature winners among the three marquee divisions.
Frank Flud led the way with total wins (10) and the most victories in a single division (seven in Winged ‘A’ Class). Meanwhile, Corbin Rueschenberg was the only driver to capture a triumph in all three divisions this year. He also finished with the second-most wins this season during NOW600 Series national competition with eight.
Other feature winners included: Benson with seven triumphs; Hinton and Jett Nunley with five; Johnny Boland and Gavin Miller with four; Jett Barnes and Kris Carroll with three; Daison Pursley and Jaxton Wiggs with two; and Gavan Boschele, Garrett Hulsey, Key, Kaley Mahaffey, Chase McDougal, Jeffrey Newell, Laydon Pearson, Jake Rosario, Colby Sokol, Justis Sokol and Braxston Wilson with one trip to Victory Lane apiece.
The NOW600 Series ended the season with 25 completed nights of racing at seven different tracks throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri.
NOW600 Series officials recently announced a new format beginning next year, which will be its 10th season. Stay tuned to the NOW600 Series social media channels for the 2022 schedule that is slated to be released within the next month.
