NOW600 National Micros
Yantis, Torgerson and Owens Capture Dan Steffey Western States Championship Wins!
GLENDALE, Ariz. (February 18, 2023) - Jett Yantis, Austin Torgerson and Jennifer Owens capurted the Dan Steffey Western States Championship feature wins on Saturday at Adobe Mountain Speedway with the NOW600 Hi Plains Building Division Cactus Region.
29 Winged Outlaws, 42 Stock Non-Wing and 17 Restricted Micro Sprints were on hand for the finale.
Jett Yantis picked up the Winged Outlaw feature event win from the pole of the 25-lapper. Austin Torgerson crossed in the runner up spot. KJ Snow was third with Josh Castro in fourth and Michael Faccinto the top five.
Austin Torgerson took the victory in the Stock Non-Wing feature on Saturday. KJ Snow from fourth crossed in second. Third went to Corbin Rueschenberg. Cameron La Rose finished fourth and Kale Drake from 12th to cross fifth.
Jennifer Owens owned the Restricted feature. Sixth starting Jaydon Barnes finished second with Connor Lundy rounding out the podium. James Ferrin was fourth at the line and Jaxon Porter from tenth rounded out the top five.
The Cactus Region of the National Open Wheel 600 Series returns to action on Saturday, March 4 at Adobe Mountain Speedway in Glendale, AZ.
