Soares Scores First NOW600 National Non-Wing Win while Weger Doubles Up on Victories at Wayne County Speedway!

WAYNE CITY, Ill. (Sept. 22, 2024) - Hank Soares picked up his first career National victory in Stock Non-Wing while Braxton Weger doubled up on victories winning both A-Class and Restricted classes.

A fielding of 40 entries made the call featuring 12-NOW600 Non-Wing, 14-NOW600 A-Class, and 14-NOW600 Restricted.

Hank Soares scored his first career NOW600 National victory in Stock Non-Wing. The win was his second overall national triumph. Jordan Clary would finish second with Hayden Mabe making up the podium. Fourth went to Jadyn Friesen with Michael Cawvey rounding out the top five.

Hank Soares and Michael Cawvey were the nights Milestone Home Service Company heat race winners. Hayden Mabe was the K&B Racing Quick Qualifier.

Braxton Weger went to victory in A-Class Winged competition. Jadyn Friesen finished in the second spot with Parker Perry claiming the final podium position. Ryan Mueller was fourth and Lane Seratt made up the top five.

Hayden Mabe and Ryan Mueller were the Milestone Home Service Company heat race winners. Jadyn Friesen claimed the K&B Racing Quick Qualifier award.

Weger also topped the Restricted feature event victory. Tityn Roberts was second with Ty Fulghum in third. Jude Allgayer was fourth at the line with Mason Skinner rounding out the top five.

Tityn Roberts and Braxton Weger each claimed Milestone Home Service Company heat race wins. Braxton Weger was the nights K&B Racing Quick Qualifier.

The NOW600 National Restricted Micros are on deck for a three night show at Port City Raceway apart of the KKM Giveback Classic on October 17-19. The event will be a non-points race and will also be wingless. Regular NOW600 National action resumes on November 1-2 at Gulf Coast Speedway in Alvin, TX.
